Yesterday when I got up and headed into church it was 37 degrees.  When I went home after my leaders meeting it was 2 degrees.  When I came back at 4:30 for our cantata warm-up it was -2.  When I left to go back home around 8 it was -5.  This morning when I got up it was -7 with a ‘real feel’ of -30.  The high for today is forecasted for -1.  Welcome to Nothern Iowa winters.

This morning I tried to administer my first jump start of the winter to someone’s vehicle.  It was of no use – it was a casualty of the cold weather.  I’m glad I have my garage to park in.
