I used to not be an avid reader. However since I have been in youth ministry (8 1/2 years now) I have made it a point to read at least one book every few months. Now I am reading 3-4 each month trying to glean some leadership principles and tools from them as I go. Below are some books I am currently working on finishing or have finished. I would recommend each one.

In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day – Mark Batterson
Becoming Conversant With The Emergent Church – Carlson
Trilogy: Three Essential Books In One Volume – Francis A. Schaeffer
Creating Community – Stanley/ Willits
The Seven Checkpoints – Andy Stanley/ Stuart Hall
Why Men Hate Going To Church – Murrow
